DC's Adult Clubs Run in Industrial Corners

DC has a small operating gentleman's-club market after decades of shrinkage. Camelot Show Bar near Dupont has been open since the '60s and is the oldest continuously operating strip club in the District. Archibald's downtown is the other longtime room. A handful of clubs operate on the Maryland and Virginia sides of the metro.

DC law permits topless-with-alcohol under specific Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration licensing — the ABRA enforcement framework is strict and the market has consolidated over time.

The nearby Virginia clubs (Arlington, Fairfax) and Maryland clubs (Prince George's County) operate under different state rules. Most of the regional market is actually on the suburban sides of the metro rather than in DC proper.
